About James Cronon

I am a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, where I served on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and the Southern Region BLSA Law Journal.  I was an active member of the Student Bar Association, Black Law Students’ Association, and Christian Legal Society.  After passing the Bar Exam, I immediately opened my own firm and have been effectively serving clients throughout the state of Georgia since. I am currently the longest serving appointed parents’ attorney for Athens-Clarke County Juvenile Court.

I have been a resident of the Athens-Clarke community for over twenty years.  I am married to a local educator and have two grown children. I also serve as an adjunct professor of paralegal studies at Athens Technical College, teaching courses in civil litigation, criminal law, contracts, torts, and bankruptcy.  I serve on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Conflict Center, and the deacon board of New Covenant Worship Center. I know far too much about comic books for a man my age and refuse to be ashamed of that fact.
